Thanks for posting!
I'm very inclined to look into a synergy/unity horn project. The math scares me. I'd require "hand-holding and mentoring.![]()
Most of these sound half decent on my POS computer system, especially the big WE horns that seem to be in a class by themselves, so probably worth listening to all of them through a decent system: Best Horn Speakers Videos 1. AudioVoice Eikon 5 way frontloaded horn speakers, latest configuration

Not all vegetables make good leaders.
You're welcome!
Not much math required if you understand the fundamentals of acoustics and compression horn design, though of course one can calculate a theoretically ideal alignment if you do know how to use the various gas, etc. law equations, which I don't, so have had to learn by cobbling together many 'proofs-of-concept'.
Nowadays though, having a good working knowledge of Hornresp, and especially AkAbak, speaker design software allows one to sim their way to an excellent design.
Sorry, but the way things are going I?ll continue to have very little time to devote to my hobbies for quite awhile yet, so won?t be able to help much, but there?s some ongoing design threads that I wish I had time to follow/post on. Search ?JLH?, I think he?s posted in all of them. Another is ?Patrick Bateman?, plus he has some threads on DIYmobile audio; and of course ?Tom Danley? anywhere on the net.
Note though that no one?s done any using Altec or similar drivers AFAIK, so any posted designs won?t have its built-in conical HF horn factored in unless specifically noted, ergo I don?t recommend using them as it will dictate a completely different design with smaller mid drivers AFAIK if the Synergy?s XO points are used.
